Parents - We need you!
The lack of overall parent participation this year is quite disappointing. We only have a skeleton crew working hard to keep this program afloat. We need your help now. Until a helpful parent (or several) choose to volunteer, we cannot even open the Snack Shack. Since this is a source of League revenue, increased fees or fundraisers may be needed to offset the loss. If you have interest in helping out in ANY capacity, please contact info@ttbrbaseball.com.
Many of us do not have players in the program but continue to serve the community by volunteering. As you can imagine, some will not be returning next year. Parents: are you willing to watch this program collapse? Are you prepared to tell your child that there is no place to play baseball next year? Most every parent can find a way to help without a large committment of time - from scorekeeping, to selling snacks, sweeping, mowing, or even picking up garbage. The more hands, the less work for each of us. Please get involved - for your child and for your community.
I especially enourage parents of 13-yr olds to get involved for a stretch of years serving as a Board Member. You don't need to know lots about baseball, just having good old common sense and concern for our youth is enough. You can pick up the details from "shadowing" others. But without new volunteers, I am highly concerned for the health and future of baseball at our facility.
Thanks for listening and your support -- Webmaster Doug Newport
Field Cleanup Day
We had several volunteers working throughout the day to accomplish our goal of removing years of dirt build-up, leveling around the mound and home plate. With 2 pallets of sod and strong backs to stitch it together, the field looks great now. Many thanks to all that helped. Every year we get positive comments about how we are not only maintaining but improving the field. It is a place that our community can be proud of and will serve us well into the future.
Senior 16-18 League
If you have not pre-registered yet, please go to our online pre-reg form and fill it out.
Games start in June and Tournament play will begin mid-July. Senior season fees are $250 ($200 + $50 refundable uniform fee).
Over the last two years we have seen significant growth in the number of senior teams in the Portland Metro area. Senior Babe Ruth baseball is alive and well in our area of Oregon and Washington!
Junior 13-15 League
Games begin mid-April with an end-of-season tournament scheduled during the middle of June.
Our league interlocks with other cities in the region, providing excellent opportunities for competitive games. We conduct our practices and home games on the beautiful baseball field located adjacent to Fowler Middle School. The facility is even equipped with lights for our evening games; a concession stand for serving meals to busy families on the go, and indoor restrooms.
The league also has the option of assembling a post-season Junior All-Star Team that competes progressively toward a shot at the Babe Ruth World Series. If you have questions or want more information, you may contact a league representative via email.

Looking for laptop donation!
We are looking for a used PC laptop donation that our rotating Treasurer position can use for consistent reporting year to year. Machine speed does not matter, but we'd prefer to have the Windows XP operating system and a CD burner for delivering files to our accountant. Those that wish to pick up a tax donation credit can use our Federal Tax ID number. Please contact us at info@ttbrbaseball.com.

Babe Ruth's Closet
A place where we collect donated baseball gear that is no longer needed. Equipment is then distributed to players needing assistance. Please consider donating your gently used gear to this great cause by contacting your Manager, Coach or any TTBR Board Member. THANK YOU.
